The Sentinel may have a similar silhouette to its predecessor, but Transition has fully redesigned the frame with updated industrial design, features, and geometry. The leverage curve supports the bike higher in its travel, keeping it quick, nimble, and light on its feet while leaving plenty of room for big hits. This gives it a lively, sporty attitude without sacrificing its capabilities in rougher terrain. New size-specific chainstays and a 64-degree headtube angle keep riders balanced with great traction on climbs and descents.

Transition added internal frame storage in the downtube of the carbon frame. The Boom Box is positioned below and isolated from the water-bottle cage mount, allowing you to leave your bottle installed while easily accessing gear. With an easy access lever and two supplied gear bags, riders can stow away snacks, tools, or a tube. The lower shock mount features a geo-adjust flip chip to accommodate mixed wheels, designed to allow water and debris to wash away easily. Additional details include a pre-installed mudguard to protect the main pivot, a chainstay protector to minimise chain slap, and customisable cable ports for simple routing and a clean aesthetic.

The Sentinel is Fidlock ready to maximise water bottle capacity. Every Sentinel comes with a Fidlock base installed, allowing for higher volume bottles in smaller spaces, ranging from 450ml on XS frames up to 750ml on M-XXL sizes. The GiddyUp suspension system is designed to behave intuitively across a broad range of setups, balancing a 25% progressive leverage curve with a consistent linear rate of change. Anti-squat is tuned to enhance pedalling performance and acceleration, while chain growth is moderate to ensure chain tension doesn't interfere with suspension work.
