The grip section is placed with a very comfortable 52-degree grip angle, and the body of the extension is swept up and outwards by 16mm to mirror the rider's arm as closely as possible. The shape was optimised using CFD to minimise drag and improve airflow over the arms, without sacrificing strength. The core innovation behind the ASA series is simple: shift the extension sideways to seamlessly align with your arm’s natural position, while keeping a 22.2mm mounting area to stay compatible with most standard aerobars.

The sole purpose of extensions is to provide a comfortable position for the rider's hands relative to the armrests. They enhance performance by allowing the rider to relax into their optimal position. Recent trends in aerobar fit have been towards higher hand positions, so the rise has been increased compared to previous generation extensions.
